1 cup = 250 ml; Tbsp. = Tablespoon = 15 ml; tsp. = teaspoon = 5 ml
Ingredients:
750g Pork Ribs
¼” Ginger
2″ Cinnamon Stick
¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
¼ tsp. Cumin Seeds
8 Garlic Cloves
6 Cloves
10 Dried Kashmiri Red Chillies
1 ¼ cups Onion
¼ cup Tamarind Water
5 Tbsp. Vinegar
2 tsp. Sugar
3 Tbsp. Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste

Serves: 4 -6
Preparation Time: 60 mins

  1. Absolutely love this recipe! Always turns out better than the last time. I use a mix of chilli flakes and paprika to balance the spice level and colour (this is because I don't really have access to Kashmiri chillies where I live). Keep up the good work, Fatima 🙂

  2. This dish reminds me of its beef version cooked in Mangalore the old fashioned way in the family kitchen over wood fire and in earthy seasoned utensils. Oh the joy of well cooked meat slathered in masala goodness with fiery pungency to boot. A winner like no other. Your porky deal seems just like that, an ideal meal. Keep it rollin madame 👍
