Made this for dinner tonight and my husband loved it–was so easy to make, very little cleanup and super tasty! Everything I've tried from y'all has been amazing!
You don't have to switch pans you can just add 1/2 or 3/4 cup of water on high heat and stir it will come out while the water evaporates. Usually people deglaze with stock or wine but no need it would be too salty if you used bouillon in the rice.
If i dont have bullion powder should i replace all the water with chicken stock or should i do half water and half chicken stock?

You totally had me till you mentioned cheese. Not sure why, but I had to run away.
A quick note on washing the rice: if you have a garden, save the washed rice water for your plants! There are still some nutrients there.
But Aaron you said this was a one pot recipe 😂
Why not lower the hear for the chicken and then deglaze the pot instead of making more washing up
