Green-Flag🐓Red-Alert🚨Murgh: Ingredients & Recipe Below:-
– Dry roast 4 tbsp peanuts, 10-12 garlic cloves, 2 inch chopped ginger, 1 tbsp each of cumin seeds, coriander seeds, 1 tsp black peppercorns, 1.5 inch cinnamon, 3 green & 1 black cardamom, 4 cloves and 6-8 green chillies on low flame for 2.5 minutes. Now add in 2 strips of curry leaves and roast for another 40 seconds. To these add in handful of coriander leaves with stems and 2-3 tomatoes blending all of it together into a paste adding a bit of water.
– Marinate 1 kg chicken with 3/4 tbsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric, 1.5 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 3-4 tbsp of the paste prepared above and 1 lemon juice. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
– Heat 7 tbsp oil in a Kadhai and add in 2 strings of curry leaves. Let them pop for 15 seconds then add in 5 finely chopped onions followed by half tbsp salt. Fry the onions on high for 8 minutes until they turn light brown.
– Now add in the remaining paste prepared above in the Kadhai and fry on high for 4 minutes then close the lid turning flame to low for another 3 minutes. Now add in the chicken and fry on high for 5 minutes then on medium for 5 minutes.
– Next add in 3 cups of water giving it a mix and close the lid turning flame to low for 20 minutes checking and stirring in between. Lastly add in 3/4 tbsp garam masala powder, 1 lemon juice and half tsp sugar (optional). Garnish with a pinch of Kashmiri red chilli on top just for the red 🚨.
