My issue is dumping the dirty water after soaking the grate. Handling the Rubbermaid is so awkward!
The exterior of my bbq is black, what can I use on it?
I cleaned mine today before I saw this video. Never thought to use hose/pressure washer. I have electrical components because of the auto starter/igniter – So I’d be concerned to do that?
I also soaked my grates AND used oven cleaner AND steel wool…and my grates still aren’t back to shiny (they are not cast iron).
Why throw away the old flame covers, just because they’re not shiny and new does it mean that they don’t work as well any more?

I would have pressure washed the grates as well.
