The best and easiest marinade ever – no-fuss and packed with so much flavor! You’ll never need another grilled tofu recipe again!
Seriously. It doesn’t get any easier than this recipe. And it’s practically fool-proof.
Grilled BBQ Tofu
450 g extra firm tofu
4 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Cut tofu into thick slices, set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, worcestshire sauce, olive oil, lime juice, onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika.
In a gallon size Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine the marinade and tofu; marinate for at least 1 hour to overnight, turning the bag occasionally. Drain the tofu from the marinade.
Preheat grill to medium high heat. Add tofu to grill and cook, flipping once and basting with marinade until cooked through, about 2 minutes on each side
Serve with the remaining marinade.
