Ground Beef and Potatoes
Quick Easy and inexpensive Ground Beef Dinner Ideas 💡

Ingredients : ✨✨✨✨✨✨

2 tablespoons oil ( I used olive oil )
1 pound of potatoes
1 pound of 93% lean ground beef
1 small yellow onion
1 red bell pepper
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of kosher salt plus additional to taste
A half a teaspoon of ground black pepper
One to 2 teaspoons of hot sauce plus additional for serving ( I used Sriracha)
Two green onions sliced
For serving nonfat, plain Greek yogurt or sour cream

You can also add shredded cheddar cheese cooked brown rice, cauliflower rice, and even add an egg on top for extra protein

Directions ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Heat the oil in a skillet, large enough to hold all the ingredients over high heat. Once the oil is hot and shiny, reduce the heat to medium, then add the potatoes. Cook, stirring often, until the potatoes are turning golden and becoming tender.(they should still be too firm to eat) about 6 minutes

Add the beef, onion and bell pepper cook, breaking apart the meat

Add the Worcestershire sauce , mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.

4. Continue cooking and breaking up the beef until the potatoes and onions are tender, and the meat is fully cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes more.

Stir in the green onions. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as desired. Serve hot, top with Greek yogurt, or sour cream. You can also add cheese and or an egg  or extra hot sauce if you like.
