INGREDIENTS
2 cups long grain rice (washed and rinsed)
1 b lean ground beef
sal and pepper to taste
1 small onion finely diced
1 small yellow bell pepper finely diced
4 cloves garlic finely minced
2 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder
1/2 tsp ground tumeric
1/2 tsp ground onion powder
32 oz water

  1. It is just me and hubby but he doesn't really like one pot rice meals but I love them! I'm gonna make this for myself tonight! Its like super comfort meal for me because I grew up on one pot meals like this! My mom was the queen of one pot wonders! Bless her, I miss her! I miss these meals!

  2. Oh I have got to try this as I love burger rice/potato dishes. I'm 72 & I had thought that the domestic ship had sailed the last few years….no interest what so ever in cooking or much eating but it seems to have come marching back into my life. You look so pretty in this vid! Btw I have 'Subscribed' & 'Liked' your channel 😀

  3. Made this for supper tonight, only thing I did different was to use a regular yellow pepper, and I didn't rinse/wash my rice, I just threw it in. It turned out delicious and even the kids enjoyed it! This I think is the second recipe of yours I've made (first was the red beans and rice using a smoked turkey leg, that also was delicious and made without any changes that I can recall). Would definitely make this again. Your recipes are 2 for 2 that I've tried so far👍

  4. Made this for dinner tonight, it was AMAZINGGGGGG! Super delicious quick meal and u can change the protein every time you make it. I added a small bag of frozen sweet corn because I love savory and sweet. I'll definitely be making the seafood version soon.
