Ingredients:
1.2kg pork belly
1/4 cup rock salt
1/2 Tbsp curing salt
4 Tbsp Brown Sugar

Boiling Ingredients:
500ml Pineapple juice
1 can San Miguel apple flavored beer
3 pcs Star anise
1 Cinnamon bark
1/2 cup Brown sugar

Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup Broth
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch + 1 Tbsp water (sauce thickener)

  1. I think you can probably keep the skin on. Ham is only skinless cuz that's how the original recipe is like, but we caramelize the sugar on top trying to make it look like skin when we could probably just keep the skin and make it crunchy.
