  1. The little holes on the side of a box grater are for grating nutmeg, which works quite well. Used to think that was a zester and couldn't figure out why anyone ever wanted to zest a fruit until discovering microplanes.

  2. Carbon Steel? If you're talking pans; comparisons with others like tri-ply (Cooks Standard, Tramontina, or All-Clad) or aluminum for heat distribution is rarely done despite testing being simple (flour browning, IR camera m or thermometer). Stainless can be seasoned so I don't want to see 'release' compared. If knives; compare to cp steels like HAP40.

  3. This channel just jumped the shark.. Twice! In one show.
First, pineapple on pizza isn't pizza. Please whatever ingredients you want together, just don't call it pizza!
    B. The "pokey things" on the side of the box grater are for hard things like parmesan. If you have a lot of parmesan to grate, use that thing. Using the micro plane will take forever and changes the density of the final product.
Last, love the show. Keep it up!

  4. I'm a retired chef, I cooked with convection oven for over thirty years. Convection creates a dry atmosphere that caramelizes the sugars faster when roasting, so foods like meats and vegetables get browner, but the interiors stay moist. It saves energy: Because food cooks faster in a convection oven, and generally at a lower temperature, it's a bit more energy efficient than a regular oven. I have a convection oven and an air fryer, Use grapeseed oil to coat my homemade fries they come out crispier and oilless

  5. You can buy toaster ovens with convection.. One machine vs having a 2 ( toaster + air fryer). Less clutter in the kitchen

Hell you can even get a toaster with convection that is large enough for a standard sized frozen pizza. I got one and now I'm thinking of getting rid of the huge ass oven I don't even use anymore. Just saying
