Ingredients for about 8 slices:
2 apples, sliced*

For the caramel:
4 pitted medjool dates
2 tablespoons unsweetened peanut butter, I use a pb that is 100% made of peanuts
1/4 cup milk of choice (60 ml)

topping:
1.4 oz. / 40 g 80% dark chocolate
handful of homemade granola or crushed nuts

1. Put the dates, peanut butter and milk into a blender or food processor and mix until creamy, add less milk first and then add more if needed. To help your blender, you could soak the dates first.
2. Cut the apples into slices
3. Top them with the caramel sauce and drizzle melted dark chocolate on top and lastly sprinkle homemade granola or crushed nuts on top
4. Let set in the fridge until the chocolate sets and enjoy! They taste the best when served immediately after the chocolate sets, so only top the ones you are going to eat and store the rest of the caramel sauce in an air-tight container in the fridge

*apples are high-fodmap, so if you are on the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, replace the apples with unripe bananas☺️
