  1. Lovely to see a system that is not automated particularly where food is concerned. I would never have imagined sitting down to eat a nice homemade meal of these sardines and thought, wow nice of the ladies there to drop two peppercorns, and one this and another of that – one by one, all by hand to make this can of fish…. and ol' Mildred there, hand chopping all the stuff Grandma style 8 hours a day with just a pairing knife and her thumb as the cutting board??? lol wow, that's amazing, I hope they all enjoy their work and want to do it, bc that seems like an odd career choice later in life to me, traditional or not.
