INGREDIENTS
for the bbq sauce
½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Ketchup reduced sugar
1 tbsp Bbq sauce
½ tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
for the seasoning
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
½ tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Crushed Black Pepper
Chicken
2 large Chicken Breasts 500gm
½ tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil to brush the grill pan
Instructions
1. Mix all the ingredients to make the Bbq sauce. Whisk and set aside.
2. Mix all the ingredients to make the seasoning.
3. Combine the seasoning with the sauce mixture to make the Bbq sauce marinade.
4. Baste the chicken on both sides with the marinade. (Reserve some marinade to baste while grilling0
5. Brush olive oil over a grill pan. Add the chicken and cook for 3-5 min over medium-high heat. Baste with the leftover marinade. Flip and cook the other side as well.
6. Serve this Grilled Bbq Chicken with steamed veggies on the side.
NOTES: You can bake the chicken breasts in the oven. Just apply the bbq sauce marinade and place the chicken in a baking dish. Bake at @350 F or 180C for 15 min.
