Homemade Beef Tapa Recipe | Tapsilog



To go with our garlic fried rice ( I made this homemade Beef Tapa recipe so you can have Tapsilog (abbreviation for tapa, sinangag (fried rice), and itlog (fried egg).

In my recipe, I used sirloin beef cut and had it sliced thinly. I marinated it overnight so the following day, I can cook this for breakfast. This has become a favorite among Filipinos. It is served with vinegar for dipping.

Try this recipe at home and share it with your family and friends!

Ingredients:
* 1 kilo beef sirloin, thinly sliced
* 1/3 cup soy sauce
* 1/4 cup calamansi juice
* 1 head garlic, minced
* 2 Tbsps sugar
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Procedure:
1. Make the marinade in a bowl – soy sauce, calamansi juice, sugar. Stir well until sugar is dissolved.
2. Add minced garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. Blend well to infuse the flavors.
3. In a container, place the beef. Pour the marinade. Massage thoroughly with your hands to ensure the mixture sits well.
4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
5. The following day, make Tapsilog. Fry an egg, the beef, and rice.
6. Serve in a plate and garnish with fried garlic bits.
7. Enjoy your breakfast! You can also have this all day long.
