Kudos to you for making the effort, but seriously if that's the bread of choice amongst the Asian population, you're in for a very obese generation/lots of heart disease.
If it took more than hour and you dont live in a country with a minimum wage under $4 an hour it isnt worth it unless you enjoy baking bread. If you live in california, and you baked this bread and it took 1 hour to complete it would be a nearly $20 loaf of bread after you paid yourself minimum wage for the time and materials it took to make it.
I get my milk bread for about 3.50 after tax. And it's quite delicious I think I'll stick with that. The extra 1.50 I would save is worth paying if you don't have time.
The wole price sheet is a scam of a lie…. anyone who takes a single look would call you out. 25 cent eggs? So the cheapeat onez? 37 cents for butter? So like either not real butter or also a crap brand? Dude you either bought in SUCH BULK!! that nobody else can replicate or you sorta bs and used the cheapest quoted numbers online for that reason i will click not recommend on your channel as i hate bs and this is full of it. I trust your method and all but to give a price sheet so stupid just to bring down 3.00$ to 1.87$ is insane and kinda stupid. Be honest or a lier you can't be both and you've already shown to be one.
Home made is usually healthier and better tasting, except it can spoil faster and doesn’t maintain its fluffiness for long. Not to mention the time it takes to make. As a hobby, it’s ok. To save money, it can be a bit of a struggle time vs money saved.
I am a pretty experienced home baker but home bread (no matter which type I prepare) never tastes as good as bakery or store bought bread. Any ideas on how to improve the flavor of home baked bread?
Stand mixer and skip half the steps. You can honestly just do one big roll and mix everything at the same time.

Where's the labor cost in your calcs?
Everything from Paris Baguette is so good, I’ll always go there instead of making at home if I’ve got one nearby.
My brother please take out that peace of paper inside that 🍞
To be honest in todays economy every cent counts these days.
Buy it?? Wow you loser!
