✅Ingredients
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 large white onion, minced
• 5 cloves garlic, crushed
• ½ cup chicken broth
• 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
• 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
• 1 tablespoon ground oregano
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
• ½ cup chopped fresh basil
• ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Heat a large pot on the stove over medium high heat. Add in olive oil and saute onion in the olive oil for about 5 minutes, until softened. Add in 5 cloves and saute another 30-60 seconds.
2️⃣ Pour in chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, fennel, oregano, salt, pepper, basil, and parsley. Bring to a simmer.
3️⃣ Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1-4 hours. Use an immersion blender to puree the mixture until the desired consistency is achieved, leaving it slightly chunky, or making it completely smooth.

Gracias, su video es excelente, muy claras las explicaciones.
Too much. All you need is olive il, onions, crushed tomatoes 28oz can, red chili flakes, oregano, salt and fresh basil.
I just buy mine outta the jar lol .😝 not everyone is chef boyarde lol 😆
I’m not a pasta person especially spaghetti but I’ve literally made this sauce for spaghetti at least 5 times within the last month! Thank you so much!
I use a potato as it absorbs the tomatoes acidicness & also add red wine, which helps with the tomatoes acidity. Remove the skinned potato after a hour cooking in sauce & DON'T EAT THEM, throw them away, they are very unpleasant tasting, the acidity is to high.
A lot of Sicilian or Italian that makes sauces, we add pork, beef or veal bones or country ribs, its cooked in the sauce for hours & we remove all the bones & the average person has no clue of this that there is so much more to making a great red sauce .
I don't like sugar or baking soda, so i use my grandma trick potato.
Thank you! Easy to follow and very simple!
It looks like you’re adding dried oregano and not ground oregano. Please let me know which one it is. Your written recipe says ground, but it didn’t look ground. Thank you.
I just made your spaghetti sauce and it’s the best spaghetti sauce I’ve ever had! My seven year old, 10 year old and 20 year old grandchild had it with me and they couldn’t stop eating it!
No disgusting onions please. Yucky
I just made this sauce tonight; it tasted so good! I love how simple the recipe is, too.
What if you don't have an immersion blender?
This recipe was perfect. Followed your recipe to a T the only change I made were frying up 2 pounds of sausage and making a pound and a half a meatball other than that it was perfect! thank you for the recipe!!
Question: "does it always have to be in the order of… crushed tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, & tomatoe paste… & if so, why? Thanks in advance
Being a zoomer is such a stupid experience, i laughed throughout the video because somebody touched the spaghet, meme's will get me in a mental assylum soon
I like to use 2 cups sundried tomatoes 12ciz good red wine and 24 Oz jar good marinara sauce along with the tomatoes ect I like to use red wine vinegar not so acid and when available San Marzano tomatoes
❤ Goated recipe 🐐
No oregano 🤢
I don't think I have tommato paste so I might just make it without hopefully still taste good
My grandfather made great sauce when he was alive. He had his own garden (he grew tomatoes and peppers), and he would have it where you can feel the peppers but not have it be spicy. He also would put them in air-tight mason jars (my grandma froze it).
My only nitpick is that that plate of spaghetti needs way more sauce. You're psycho if you like pasta with sauce. It's always sauce with a side of pasta.😅
Too much work, guess I'm sticking to premade
😂
