All I had seen of Chuck was over on Goldees and Jirbys channels. After visiting Goldees, I was amazed.
To watch this and learn that Chuck is from the Valley made me damn proud! That’s awesome Chuck, I’ll be up there soon to try some Barbs. Keep representing Brownsville (956 lol), and I wish you the best of luck on this journey.

Two waters and two sausage for 88.10. Yep that's Texas BBQ for you.
PLEASE stop putting so much emphasis on your “s’s” and “t’s”!!! You will make EVERYONE that hears your voice waaay less annoyed even though they might not admit it to you!
Before the vid: we’ll see if she knows what she’s doing
After the vid: yea she knows what she’s doing
Now that's what I'm talking about Chuck, always knew you could do it (:
Thanks to Millscale for suggesting this place to me over spring break. Very good BBQ and a must try, wait it sucks (that way I can get another round). FYI I went in on a Saturday at 12:30p and got the last 1/4lb of brisket.
Do you wanna put more seasoning on the table?
at 18:37 she said "2 lengths of sausage and then 2 ozark waters, fabulous, alright your total is $88.21" dollars????
Woman moment. Mediocre food and especially technique
I tried it on 3 different occasions. I wanted this place to be so good but honestly it’s just a run of the mill at best. First visit my plate was served with dried brisket, was not pleased at all. But my second visit wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t rank it more than a 7/10 but it’s not bad
Man, she's really smokin'! 😊 Keep up the great smile! Look delicious!
Ummm no not the hottest new spot. She can't compete with salt lick or blacks or franklins..
Can't wait for my next trip home to Texas, I will definitly be making a stop for some BBQ, more than likely to all three good places……
The BBQ looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I need to make a trip up there! AND you're from my hometown of Brownsville!!! RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!
The valley native Almost went the whole video without mentioning hot Cheetos. Almost
I come from a Mexican family in Laredo(South Texas) and we make green spaghetti for thanksgiving
That's the absolute best looking brisket I've ever seen!!
She knows what she's doing at such a young age. Kudos!
That brisket recipe is changing hands.
I instantly recognised this girl from the previous Goldee's video she was in and she said something along the lines of "you either get levels of ownership in where you're working, or you start your own business up", glad to see this talented young lady go out by herself, she was the pittmaster for when Goldee's won the award, so she clearly has a future! Nice video! Also not sure if you realised but you can see it's a Goldees smoker at 17:52!
Brownsvile– nice i live 20 min away harlingen tx
WOW her dynamic with the different elements, tools, intricacies. so awesome.
The guy with the Tigres jersey, he knows!!!!!
WOW!! Clearly an extremely talented chef with wonderful and unique ideas about BBQ!
well there are still a couple of things i envy you guys for … there over the big pond
so when does she open up a second shop here in germany =)
A great example of the American dream.
I stopped watching when you failed to note that she was the pitmaster at Franklin’s 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Dam, I got tired just watching this.
Chuck's prominence in Texas BBQ is something very special.
She is such a Gift. I love her and her beautiful personality.🫶🏽
What is the white stuff she puts in the blender 6:05 she says ????very???? looks like sour cream or yogurt????
I cant wait to come visit – I love the influences that are original not copies! Congrats on YOUR place.
"A little bit of butter" …. lol
Basically Goldees south. With a twist.
The menu looks really delicious and unique from typical barbecue fare. Gonna try making green spagh at home! I wish them the biggest success.
She fine af
lmao what a stoner
This video is so enjoyable to watch. Her energy, passion, and joy jumps off of the screen. I love how much she loves what she does.
Shhhhhhh stop posting video's about your delicious brisket.
bailed on goldees huh? traitor
Nothing worse than a Texas person referring to "the valley" for the Rio Grande Valley. Dont insult LA and dont Texas it. Texas has the Rio Grande Valley, not The Valley. Texans be arrogant though.
Chucks bbq is amazing. Who is shocked? Former pitmaster and OG Goldees fam. I love the Texas Valley flare being adding to it. Central Texas needs it since Valentinas went belly up.
Arriba los TIGRES!!🐯🐯🐯🐯🐅🐅🐅
Shes truly my idol 😍
the lamb is unique
I need to go to lockhart right now!
Passion…heart…and soul. Authentic to the bone.
I'm glad she is doing well. When she was uploading videos of the place when she was building it out it looked terrible
Wow! Looks Amazing!! I must go.
ANOTHER must-stop joint in Lockhart?!! Oh my – ! And her roasted poblano sauce – three or four ain't gonna last long as more folks discover Barb's.
It's OK but it is no where near as good as Goldee's or Snow's, or Franklin's. I love her story but I can't lie about the food.
