Smoking meat is a demanding task and quite frankly it’s not for everyone.
The amount of patience required to do this thing would be enough to get most of us screaming with anxiety!
But it becomes an even more problematic work when the type of smoker you’ve selected isn’t in line with your type of cooking style or what you want to accomplish, so let’s look at horizontal vs vertical vs offset smokers and EXACTLY when to use one over the other.

Thank guys
Okay, thats a kettle style GRILL that I being referred to as a vertical smoker. Kettles are very flexible in the way you can use them; smoking, grilling, and searing. The drum style water smoker you have listed is a member of the vertical family. The term vertical normally means you have multiple layers of food cooking with your heat at the bottom of the cook chamber. Horizontal you have shown is like a patio grill. They are also easy to setup in many different ways with a little practice.
Generally a Smoker has its fire in a separate chamber from the meat no matter the orientation (offset, vertical, over-under). Most of the time smokers can not function as a grill. A grill has one chamber but can be used in many ways. Cute video but could you do more research before you provide misinformation to the new comers to the smoking world.
