We’re just 5 weeks away from the cookbook release! A huge thank you to everyone who has already preordered. If you haven’t yet, now is the perfect time to grab your copy. We’re so grateful for your support, for watching our videos, and for sharing our family table each week.
Good dish, I opted to make it spicy. The soy sauce definitely adds to the dish.
Unless I am missing it, the written recipe in the description does not have the unsalted chicken broth/stock that was demonstrated in the video or on the web page? Just FYI.
Side note: I LOVE watching James grow up. He seems like a really grounded, down-to-earth kid. He's so adorable. Well done.
I'm ordering your book for family and asking for one for myself! Watching here is like having dinner with you. Thanks.
Do butter chicken! Love these videos
I really like your video style. This dish looks great and really versatile. Looking forward to trying the broccoli that way. 👍🏼
one of the most wholesome channels out there
Steaming broccoli isn't "healthier" lmao
Another great podcast….appreciate the honesty and openness of everyone involved. Very authentic.
Substitute ground pork rinds if you can't eat flour.
If every dish was rated a 10 he’d have no credibility. Well done James for keeping your dad on his toes. 😂
I'm thinking you could sub corn starch for flour for those who are gluten=free
Looks great! I'm almost tempted to deglaze with wine or lemon juice then finish with a few knobs of butter
always more sauce when adding rice
I don't think my stomach can take 8 cloves of garlic. 😆 It looked really delicious! I might try it someday after a little shopping. 😇🩵🙏🙌🇸🇪
Asian? You just made chicken scampi.
Of course it's a little dry; you used chicken breast! 😆 Use thighs instead…problem solved.
This looks delicious!!!
James, what about having a dredge that is a mix of corn starch/potato starch with the flour? Just curious. Thank you for this, cooking it this weekend!
Everything is yummy with butter
Thank you for teaching me how to cook in order properly. 🙂 no one actually ever did that before for me z🙏🙏🙏🩷🩷
This looks delicious. I would love a butter chicken video.
Your so cracks me up!!! What a critic!!!
I love this channel! Great recipes. Great presentation. Great Fam!
Your oil won't go over the edge if you use two smaller pans and cut the paper bigger – so it's an inch past the edge on all sides.
This is a good base recipe, it can lean a lot of directions.
You can add ginger and lean into the Asian flavors. You can add tomatoes and heavy cream and go Italian. I added mushrooms and Dijon mustard to go French. One person in the comments even said they went for a buffalo sauce. This is a versatile base for weekday meals.
Nice work Jim!
I made this dish today and it was delicious and easy. Now I didn’t have any green onion are parsley. But it’s just me and my husband, so it was ok.❤
Love the honesty and an 8.5 still sounds really good.
Where's my place? 😢
Yum
You are correct about the taste tester's assessments.
That boy is getting BIG!!! I remember when he was a lil midget…LOL
Minus the hot pepper flakes I have been making this identical dish for years from Jaques Pepin. Also, I am going to show my wife the section you talk about oil splattering everywhere so she knows it's not just when I cook!!!
Canola oil…..? Seriously?
Would boneless/skinless chicken thighs still be ok, even though they're a bit fattier?
Made it exactly as shown tonight! Pretty dang yummy but definitely took my much longer than 10 mins to prep (at least that much just to do that garlic ) I learned I should have tapped off a bit more flour before adding the chicken to the pan. I went back and added a lot more butter and wine to make more sauce. 😋
I love you guys! Easy simple meals and you share it with everyone. Y’all rock!
I've made this twice so far once with breast and once with thighs also with the addition of fresh rosemary and thyme in the garlicky butter sauce and no wine. Both times turned out fantastic, needless to say nobody is complaining at my house. Thanks for the recipe!
Look how big James got, I remember when he was little and giving his opinion on the recipes. Love this channel, I lived on the South shore Suffolk County for many years, feels like home to me watching this channel.
3 tbsp orange juice, with the chicken? Just my preference to add sweet tangy.
Wow! James sure grew up!
Wow! How big has James gotten??!!! 😲😯 I love that he's so honest and I love that you keep his honest opinion in the video! Thanks for keeping it real! ❤💖❤ I made your Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta last week. So yummy!😋 It was a big hit! Thank you!
Absolutely appreciate James honest opinion. My 12 year old would give her opinion with my dishes and these opinions made me a better home cook.
Don't think I could afford teenagers.😱
I subscribed because of the honesty in the review. 🙂
I'd replace the butter with some greek yogurt and nutritional yeast to cut out some saturated fat, but otherwise this is a perfect recipe for any night of the week!
Yum!! What's a good substitute for butter in this dish?
Such a cozy video. Makes me want to try cooking this at home right away.
