If you ever find yourself in Wilson (NC), be sure to visit Flo's Kitchen! Killer cheddar biscuits!
We approve here in Eastern NC.
Y’all do know a rat rsn behind the hosts during the opening talk on the veranda? About 50 seconds in.
Better than fried egg or chicken cutlet, would be a piece of fresh sausage or tenderloin covered in gravy.
how long at 450?
What Temp would you bake these at if they were frozen ?
The rest of the baking? Why don’t you share this information? I went to your site to get the recipe to find it was a subscription service. Yeah-No
I miss my tarheel state! Born and raised in Greenville and miss these biscuits! This ole boy is gonna try his hand at these this weekend!
Does anyone know how long to cook these?
5 mins at 500 degrees, then 450 for ???
I HAVE to make these biscuits! They look incredible and I'm sure they taste incredible!
Top 'em off with a little scoop of grape jelly on each bite. Or strawberry, that's good too.
Hiiiieee
Parchment paper on the cooking sheet?
Cheddar doesn’t have much lactose. Sometimes it has none. But I guess trying for a joke is more important.
That would be so good with tomato soup!
I'll just stick to getting my biscuits from Abram's. They have the best cheese biscuits! Go Pirates! 💜💛
Cheers for Cheddar Cheese & Christie! 🙂
Looks great, can’t wait to try them.
I learn how make?
Wow!! This looks actually worth making!! Cheers for Christie!!
You're killing me. I need to lose ten pounds! I can't have those.
Another heart stopping recipe for Americans that are considering mainlining cheese. =8-/

Oops… cat head biscuits refers to the size…? It’s not an ingredient? No wonder mine came out weird. 🙄
Thanks for commenting that it is eastern North Carolina. I am a native from western NC and never heard of them. North Carolina has a number of areas that have distinct recipes and foods. Hoop cheese is common in western NC also.
Christie, I always love your segments. Not only are you an excellent cook/chef, but you bring a joy to the kitchen that is contagious !
Drooling here!🤤🤤🤤🤤
Yikes those are big biscuits. They look amazing.
Oh how I would love to make these but yes I am lactose intolerant so this would be one that I would have to skip or I would have to use fake cheese and I'm just not a lover of that I am not that kind of bums me out darn it
Thank goodness for Cooks Country. You show us how to cook for our FAMILY not for those with disposable incomes.
