I like the TMG's and they do some good lookin rigs, but huge fan boy of Primitive Pits and Workhorse Pits. You need to go there and see if you can get in their new place with your camera.
I’m from Knoxville. It’s awesome to see you checking out a local business. I hope you enjoyed your stay!
what happen with this guy and Kamo grill
These pits are beautiful. Love the interview and think these guys are for real! I have had BBQ cooked on one or more of these pits and it was so smoky and soooooooo good!
I was just in Knoxville last week and mentioned wanting to visit TMG even though they were closed on my Instagram story. Brandon reached out, called me, drove 20 minutes, met me there, opened the shop and chatted with me for about a half hour. Solid Dude!!
So you didn’t show us what you towed home from them? You can’t go that in-depth and not buy one! Let us see James!
"If it ain't broke, don't break it"… 😉
I have their Dumpster. Love direct heat BBQ. The versatility is outstanding, as you can also do some fantastic indirect smoking. Just made a killer chuck roast in June, and will be throwing a brisket on the pit this month.
Lastly, not only do these guys make some of the best pits in the business, they also have amazing customer service.
Nice looking and well built rigs and I would be proud to own one if I was in the business of feeding a large number of people. Thanks James for showing us these products. You likely know your exposure for your face was 2/3 to 1 F stop to hot and you should back up your facing lighting. The background looks great.
Their work just looks like it's a cut above as far as design. Just beautiful work and you captured it well James!
@2.19… They've got the gas strut the wrong way around..
I’m currently waiting on mine. I’m so glad that I ordered mine from TMG Pits. They help you make the right decisions on the pits and upgrades. Can’t wait.
You've made this video interesting, enjoyable to watch.
Great guys, awesome pits. I love my Fridge 48, Dumpster and the trailer to haul both.
You talk to much, you need to edit yourself and your videos wouldn't be so unnecessary long.
Bought and pickup up my TMG Fridge 48 from them. Spent an hour with them when I picked up. Phenomenal people and craftsmanship!
Cool bunch of guys and girls at TMG! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
I’ve got my order in for the Volunteer since December. I should be on the build list for July and hopefully have it delivered to southern Canada (Montana) by August.
If ever have the kind of money to blow where I can get one tmg is the only pit I want. I want a tank and one of their fridges
I clicked on this thinking I probably wouldn’t be too interested, and now after 20 minutes I’ve decided I must have a Forge. These guys make some amazing looking pits.
Great video in your series James!
Keep up the great work!
These are the first pits I've seen that have me questioning the my future BBQ needs. These look incredible.
So cool. James you need to keep going south and go to Tuscaloosa Alabama and check out the Shirley Fabrication smokers. There is a reason why there is almost a
32 – 34 month wait for custom orders. Paul and Tyler Shirley will be your contacts. Travel safely in your adventures and Thank you for taking us along to your destinations on your road trip.
Awsome stuff
