Great informative video, thank you. We just bought a Blackstone and will be putting it together this weekend.
Question to all…..for just about everything you might cook on this griddle, do you always put a little oil down before cooking? Thanks in advance.
Im wondering, can we do sometime more ecological? Too much paper towel 😢 i get mine to grilled veggies and the mess is level 10 😂
That’s more of a wipe down
How do you BBQ or smoke anything on a griddle?
What kind of oil are you adding after each clean?
Idk, seems like a pain in the ass compared to a regular grill. Oil, water, scraping, wiping down, and oil draws ants and other insects , sooooo not a great idea😮😮😮😮
Todd uses paper towels like they grow on trees.
3 Steps ? How about 1 step by making the Cooktop in STAINLESS STEEL and steps 2 and 3 wouldn't be necessary ? Make these things using the Correct Materials, these are a Waste of time in their current configuration, mine went in the Trash after 6 mos of repetetive Rust.
What kind of oil do you use? All you grill guys make these videos and say "use some oil" but NEVER day what kind of oil?
1:50 a bird almost hit you guys
What a nice guy and a nice family!!! Im about to get mine tomorrow!!! Great information, thank you so much!!!
what type of OIL ???
Hey Todd, level V Cleaning and restoring. I've got 2 Blackstone Griddles. The 36" airfryer combo (at camp), and the Adventure series 28" at home. My 28" griddle has suffered some aweful neglect, my bad. Lots of rust. Have you heard of any success with CRC Evapo-rust? Product claims to be safe on all cooking surfaces, but i dont want to eat poison……. Appreciate your thoughts.
When do you turn off the heat/burner during this process?
It looks like you use vegetable oil. Can you. Use olive oil?
Thank you, great video.
After cooking, I always use hot water and a scraper. Then use paper towels to clean and coat with oil. Four years and no rust.
Dude uses paper towels like my kids do toilet paper 😮
What kind of oil do you use at the end to coat the grill? And do you use it to cook too?
I’m sorry if this was already answered. So I have let my grill cook because like you mentioned my family was done eating by the time I got done cleaning so I let it cool after making burgers and it’s all messy now.
I will definitely start cleaning quickly like you directed in the video down now how, HOWEVER, how do you suggest cleaning a griddle with cooked on food that has cooled??
Do u need to burn off the oil at the end? Every now and then? Or every time?
Great video!! Quick and to the point. I just got my first Blackstone. Very helpful.
can I cook a prime rib roast on a blackstone?
It's bothering me that there are so many paper towels being wasted 😤
I can’t hear a thing
Did you not have time to actually cook those burgers?
How about Avocado oil at the end? Someone told me that I am curious.
Thanks for these tips ! I just bought a BlackStone yesterday!
Why do I keep having oil and water accumulating on the back corner of my grill?😢
