Ok for everyone so clearly indignant about how WONDERFUL their bowls and lids are despite being cleaned in the dishwasher: perhaps you don't know that these used to be made out of a different kind of plastic. If you've ever seen the original amber bowls of a Cuisinart that are scuffed and cloudy, you'd understand why they've been advising to keep them out of dishwashers. The Lexan plastic today is different. Also, both dishwashers and dishwasher detergents are differnet today too. However manufacturers dont want you to blame THEM for an inferior product if your items get cloudy. So they keep giving the same advice they did 40 years ago.
TL;DR – calm down and enjoy the advances in technology.
I tried washing mine by hand the first time I used it. After it slipped and sliced multiple fingers open, I decided the very slight dulling that might occur after years of dishwasher cycles was worth keeping all of my blood tyvm.
I have this exact food processor and I routinely put the lid and bowl in the dishwasher. My bowl and lid look brand new and are MUCH clearer than yours.
I put a free plastic grocery store bag between the bowl and the lid when I’m chopping up food that doesn’t have to be added from the feed chute above and I never have to wash the lid. Occasionally, I have to push a little harder to get the lid to lock in place, but it’s not a big deal.
You would think that not putting the base in the dishwasher is an obvious No-No but there will be some idiot on the internet that will do it and think that nothing would have gone wrong! 🤯🧫🧽🧼
Tip number one, clean it immediately after use.
I do mine with a load of whites on hot
That looks very cloudy to me.
I have the same one for only a couple of years, but I put all of the plastics in the dishwasher about 2xs a week and mine are crystal clear.
I have been putting my new cuisinart in the dishwasher for 3 years not foggy and I Call B.S. on the dish machine dulling the blade.

I wash the blade by hand everything else is going in the dishwasher. If I had to hand wash this thing every time I used it, I'd never use it.

Lol, ridiculous advice.

I put mine in the dishwasher. If you ever have cloudy dishes just add TSP. It works beautifully.
I take mine to the car wash.
27 years of washing mine in the dishwasher. It's fine. I try to use the top rack, but not always.
I would use my food processor a lot more if it wasn’t so tedious to clean
This is why I have a different model. One that cleans in the dishwasher.
I’ve had mine for over 15 years and it still looks great after hundreds of dishwasher cycles. 👍🏼
When I power wash my driveway I do the food processor.
The manual even says that the all the parts but the base can be cleaned in the dishwasher. I've been doing just that for years with no problems.
What's the best all-purpose spray? 😏
No problem here cleaning the base and lid and blade in dishwasher
Dang thats a LOT of All Purpose Cleaner on the outside of the food processor!!!
Instructions unclear. Drove food processor through car wash.
