What cut is best for pulled pork?
The Shoulder Cut
The most common cut for making pulled pork is the shoulder. The pork shoulder is the entire front leg and shoulder of a hog. In your grocery store, you will usually find this divided into two cuts, the Boston butt (also known as the Boston roast), and the picnic roast.

Do you put mayo on a pulled pork sandwich?
Whisk together the mayonnaise, cider vinegar, sugar, and some salt and pepper in a medium bowl, and then add to the cabbage mixture. Mix well to combine. Taste for seasoning; adjust with more salt, pepper or sugar as needed. Serve the pulled pork on buns topped with coleslaw.

  1. At first I thought "What!? no smoke?!" but man, finished product looks like the real deal! Never thought about using our instant pot. Might have try that…maybe kiss that thing with a little smoke first. Like the idea of pulled pork in 4 hours vs the 16 I usually do on my offset. And dude…those sides..! Love the vids, keep 'em coming!

  2. Nice brother! The only thing I would done was just to seared my pork shoulder on to of the stove in a cast iron pan for a quicker cook time. Then I would have put it in the instapot OR pressure cooker and added a few drops of liquid smoke along with the barbecue sauce. My we all have different techniques but I haven't had no good lima beans and corn since my mother passed. I will still ask for a plate though looking good
