Much smarter than eating beef! A 4 oz. beef steak is gonna have over 20 grams of fat, while elk has only 1.5! An elk steak has less saturated fat than 1 egg.

Idk why but my family and everyone else I know across any provinces we can’t eat food that’s even abit red or else we get pretty sick…so when I see people eat red meat it makes me sick and interested on why they don’t get sick or maybe they are used to that red bloody meat…or “flavour” lol..I tried deer meat that was kinda red and was told it’s cooked to perfection and I was in the washroom after eating half of it puking and stomach problems…and I was told I was wrong…lol but I’ve been eating deer, moose, duck, and partridge meat all my life and the way I cook and my family cook it I never get sick or have stomach problems…only when experienced cooks cook it for me is when I get sick..
I eat almost nothing but elk and moose. We usually shoot one of each every year. This looks overcooked….. not seriously, but a little. Just my opinion.
Also, swamp donkey is the better meat. Elk is the best. Except for swamp donkey.
The best elk is from the wild. The store elk is GMOs. It mean that it ain't healthy as a real elk meat.

Elk is better then beef hands down I would 100%take elk over a tbone or a filet mignon any day
