It seems like the BBC has a general problem with cooking starchy food. First rice and now pasta. XD
Cut pasta to check if it's done? haha, just take a bite and check if it's done. You'll feel it on your teeth. So much extra stuff going on in here. It's just pasta. 1/10/100 rule(1 liter water, 10g salt, 100g pasta), put pasta in boiling water and taste to check if done. This is like when ppl tell you to throw spaghetti on the wall to check if it's done.
