How to Cook Pork ILUGON – Bisaya Tutorial

The term “ilugon” is synonymous with “being stolen” or “snatching away”. This recipe uses the pork intestine, which is not supposed to be included in cooking, but because of Pinoy’s resourcefulness they will “snatch away” the pork intestine that is normally discarded by the owner of the pig and bring it home to be cooked.

Nowadays, it is pretty common among Filipinos, especially among the Bisaya to use pork innards or lamang loob and ilugon is one of them. Hope you enjoy!
