Its not you mam, I just hate the music
Love the different camera angles and the voice over. It helps to focus on what you are doing in the video. Thanks for the tips. I've always been intimidated by decorating cakes but you make it look easy.
Awesome video Lan! I think I'm feeling confident enough to try now.
Thanks soo much I'll use these tips
Excellent tips! Thanks Lan.
I just viewed your Cook's Country segment Chicken Scarpariello the other day. It was a very good segment. You present well and have ease and confidence in front of the camera. Hope to see more of your recipe presentation!
Cool! Thanks for the information about adjusting the consistency of the frosting for writing on the cake.
Practice makes perfect on all of these techniques! The "ruffle" was incorrect. That is a shell border. Terminology can be varied among decorators but a "shell" is a universal border/term. I find that a "reverse shell" is a great border for beginners because it is a half circle(with a star tip) going one way and then back in the opposite direction, repeating. Great video overall and as a pro decorator, these tips will work very well for beginners.
Great video. I love your simple, to the point style of content.
All of these tips are so great, but my new fave is using parchment paper for practice and cutting it to size and shape for the cake surface you will be icing! My gosh, I am definitely going to be using that for my next cake, thank you so much! Great video!
Lan is awesome. I swear, her voice could cure a hangover.
Who still eats cake in 2018?
Such Great Information. Thanks
Thank you, I need to practice writing more. I think it helps when trying to pipe decorations using the same tip. 💖
Nice!
