Skip the lighter fluid and use Chef David Rose’s natural method for lighting your charcoal grill. Lighter fluid contains chemicals and additives which will affect and alter the glorious flavors of your Omaha Steaks proteins. Instead use all-natural charcoal starters or olive oil. To use olive oil to start a fire, soak charcoal with 1/3 cup of olive oil and saturate four to five paper towels with 1/3 cup of olive oil. Light paper towels and top with three to four coals. You’ll have a fire in no time.
