What’s eating Dan? 🤷♂️ 😅
substitute port with any red heavy and sweet taste wine, reduce and see what happens.
So all other balsamics are swill, according to Dan. Whatever, dude.
Thanks for sharing the video.
Interesting, drizzled on ice cream
Reducing vinegar is a handy technique, but “how to make $100 balsamic vinegar” is a bit sensational as a caption. Next can you show us how to doctor up $5 box wine into a $100 bottle?
I have a foodie friend that gets the good stuff, and yes, it's good. But you can buy something in the $20-30 range that's ALMOST just as good. If you're using it as it's intentend, you barely even notice the difference.
Costco has Kirkland brand balsamic and it's surprisingly delicious. As far as I can tell it has more grape must than others I've read ingredients of. No added sugar but super sweet and delicious
Honestly, I splurged once on a D.O.P. bottle of balsamic vinegar… And it was good, but not great… Nothing memorable… And don't get me started on the D.O.P. San Marzano tomatoes… 🙂
You can also use 1 cup balsamic and a quarter cup grape juice then reduce.
I buy balsamic glaze to put on my caprese, and ice cream, haven't tried it on strawberries though.
Oh you underestimate how much money I’ve spent at Di Bruno Brothers over the years, the balsamic vinegar bill pales in comparison to the cheese counter.
I normally jusy reduce down without the sugar and port and its great.
Pro tip: Do NOT burn it. Yuck.
I've got both. It's worth buying the "real deal" if you can afford it. My real deal has been hanging out in my pantry for over 10 years. It's only getting better.
If you've got port, it's costing you more than $5.
These shorts are horrible to watch. Please include a real video
Look at the ingredients on your "balsamic" vinegar
What was that last ingredient? Pork??? Port???? What is port???
wow. I've never tried it on ice cream. I'm betting it's delicious.
Bravo!❤❤❤
Big Balsamic has been real quiet since this video dropped.
