  1. I'm from Detroit, he is not making the ORIGINAL. The onions were chopped medium. There was steak combined with the ground beef. The cheese was mixed in with the meat and onions. The bun was lightly toasted separately.
YES, it was a little messy but very very good. Ii was originally "BROTHERS BAR B Q" I ate them at least 2 times a week walking home from school. It was wrapped in a wax paper sheet then wrapped in foil. That caused the bun to be somewhat steamed. BROTHERS, closed appropriately 2005 or 2006.
THE SECRET WAS "JEAN'S SAUCE OF THE ISLANDS"

  2. I know recipe writers hate these comments but my first thought was to apply this technique to my mom's Heinz Chili Sauce sloppy joes. I don't know how close the sauce was but it was pretty good. I don't like the cheese but the onions and the toasted hoagie roll were good ideas.

  4. Christi, you really need your own YouTube channel. I got here from Test Kitchen but those people bore me to tears. You have a great personality and a wonderful presence. Loved the video and the great sandwich. Thanks !!!!

  5. These videos are for entertainment, possibly for giving people different ideas for an easy, tasty dinner, you can make at home. Then all the critics come on with there 2 cents. For those people just go to McDonald's, it's easy to criticize that junk food !

  6. Gotta ask, is ATK like actively trying to increase the mass acquired by the already generally rotund American population? There’s seems to be a heavy (intended) emphasis on Cracker Barrel cuisine.
