No baking powder. Or vodka that’s why this recipe doesn’t work and the fish doesn’t float. Plus it should be placed on a rack after cooking so it doesn’t steam and get soggy. No thanks, this recipe is for beginners.

I made this tonight using perch and Hungarian paprika. Don't make this the way I did, it was absolutely disgusting and has no taste. Batter is crispy but no flavor.
Maybe cod and regular paprika makes a difference.
Sorry this gets a yuck factor rating on this one never using this again.
Way too thin of a batter for me. If you have to dredge in plain flour to get the batter to stick, you messed up the batter. Plain flour is not an appealing flavor.

Great recipe, but omg, that 12 minutes of salting and peppering the cod, and all the slow motion going on. I fried a whole chicken, made macaroni salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, homemade biscuits, ate, cleaned my house, and mowed the lawn all before this video ended. Think I grew a few grey hairs too.
