Very disappointed with this recipe. Mine came out too dense and didn't have that light and creamy feel I expected with cheesecake. Very bland taste. Maybe mixing it in the food processor didn't give it enough air? I'm going back to the water bath method from Alton Brown.

Excellent recipe so easy to make and delicious. I’ve made this twice now. The second time I wanted to reduce the sugar so I did 1/4 cup sugar and 12 drops of Stevia it was fantastic…no Stevia after taste. Also I used only a teaspoon of brown sugar in the crust and 1/4 cup of toasted pecans…reducing the gramma wafers to 5. Next time I think I’ll try grating some orange zest into the batter. Thank you for this base recipe and the cooking technique.

We love our new "air" fryer. I have made perfect Salmon, chicken, and meatballs. It is extra handy for cooking up the side dish MyBest.Kitchen veggies, like zucchini and broccoli! We did try "French fries" and we need to work on them some more. My friend also figured out how to "boil" eggs in the air fryer, and they come out great! Everyone should have one!
Great info. I am trying to make brownies in a stone round pan in the air fryer, same one your are using, but they are getting very done on the edges and still very runny in the center. So I am going to try to cover it with foil cooking at 300. Then remove foil, then leave in the oven like you did with the cheesecake. I actually thought about you cooking the cheesecake in the air fryer and came to check out your temps and time. Hopefully these steps will be the key I'm looking for.

ATK: does this whole process need to be done on the 'air fry' setting? And, what's the difference between the 'air fry' and 'bake' setting? I used bake…doesn't seem to be cooking right. 😐

Made this last night. Turned out great. Sweetened it with an allulose / stevia blend instead of sugar and made the crust out of roasted hazelnuts and pecans that I pulsed in the food processor with melted butter and the sweetener.
I don’t have a 6” springform pan so I used one of those disposable Reynolds aluminum pie pans, which just barely fit in my air fryer. The filling was kind of mounded up in the crust – I had to place a foil tent over it – and I had to cook it with the foil off a good 10 minutes longer than the instructions called for until the center was suitably jiggly, but ultimately it came out great. I’d make less nut crust next time as it kinda dominates the cake and use more butter as it’s a bit crumbly but overall delicious and much easier to make than cheesecake in a traditional oven. Will definitely do this one again!

This cheesecake recipe is the only reason I needed to buy the Vortex Plus air fryer! To make it keto, replace the sugar with monk fruit/erythritol sweetener (available at Costco) and the graham crackers with crushed pecans (and some more of that sweetener). Oh, man, "cheesecake for days" is my new YOLO!

I tried your recipe, my cheesecake rise so high, I dont know what happened, the cheesecake when i covered with foil, the cake attached to the foil, coz it was high. What did i do wrong? Did i I over beat?
Air fryer is such a stupid concept, what are people thinking? Call it what it is , not a fryer. It’s deception. It’s wrong. ATK is better than that, unless they’re getting paid to cover them. Sad.

Before I make a cheesecake in my brand new Air Fryer, I want it to not stink of burning plastic.
I've tried the vinegar and lemon juice trick every day for a week and the smell, though somewhat diminished, is still overwhelming. I don't want my food to pick up that foul stench.
How long does it take for that awful odor to go away?

I am unfamiliar with the concept of "leftover." Just what is that exactly? Is it the form to use on the first gate in the 100 yard high hurdles? Part of the instructions on how to tie one's shoes? If I were to use my imagination, I might think this is a colloquialism for food that no one scarfed up. But I must be mistaken. This exquisite dessert going, in any increment, uneaten???
