  1. I like your cooking style! I actually prefer whole chicken or legs because you get a lot of flavor from the marrow. You can break the bones up somewhat, or just let the slow cooker do it's thing. Love onion powder, I use stuff like that too. What I would do differently is, I would dice the skin and add it to the pot. I love the flavors from the skin of the bird. I'm not a huge fan of chicken filés. lol! 🙂

  2. You are my kind of cook! I get so frustrated with recipes that call for 50 different ingredients, half of which I never heard of and the other half require a worldwide search to obtain. And if you do, you realize that the cost was 2 or 3 times what is costs to go to a restaurant for the same thing. Your recipes and presentations are a fresh breath of spring. Thank you!
