I love this recipe, made it 8 years ago after watching Walter Mitty, batter…great, home made almond flour great,…my question is how does a wizard whip 2 cups of confection sugar and 2 tablespoons of water into that beautiful frosting? dont get it?! its either dry or runny water?
🍊🥮♥️
Omg , Ashley ..that looks absolutely scrumptious!! I'm going to try it. Question: if I can't find clementines, what could I substitute for?
Beautiful job and cake Ashley !!!👍👍
Fantastic cake. 💖👍
Mouthwatering
Not too sweet???? I don’t understand how americas are OK with adding all that sugar in the form of glaze even when the cake is already sweet☠️ I would feel sick eating that glazed
Hi looks so good. Can you use almond flour instead of toasting the nuts?
Can we replace the almond flour with all purpose flour? How much?
Clementines have disappeared from the grocery store – they've been replaced by mandarin oranges which are not the same.
Can you do this recipe with tangerines or oranges?
I love this. I tend to favor fruity things for dessert and nothing that is cloyingly sweet or heavy. This cake is refreshing and easy.
Love it!!
I'm in love!😍
This is my least favorite kind of recipe. It assumes everyone has a microwave, a food processor, and a stand mixer. Ugh. We got rid of our microwave a few years back. I don't miss it.
Pure Awesomeness!😋🤩
too much sugar in this cake…
Gorgeous in sight…..
Gorgeous in flavor, I'm sure. 👍 Thank you!
This cake was big 8 years ago when Nigella Lawson popularized it.
Thanks , looks lovely , will tangerines or satsumas do if no clementines available ?
I can imagine this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the best 50/50 bar flavor ever! 😁👍✌
I'm surprised they're re-running this video when clementines are not in season…I tried this recipe a few months ago (when the video was originally posted) with very sweet seedless mandarins as clementines were not available and there was a bitter aftertaste. Would like to retry when I can get actual clementines. They are typically only available in late fall-winter though…
i've seen so many videos about using lemon zest, and in this case, the whole Clementine fruit, peel and all; but no one's mentioned that the ordinary fruits at the supermarket come coated in food wax to increase their shelf life… ok that wax may not be harmful, but do you really want that in your food? not all of us can afford to buy 'Organic', you know….
but i should also add that Ashley here seems to really enjoy cooking, and brings a smile to my face when i see her videos 🙂
You ever want to reach into your screen and get a piece?😛
