My grandma would make this for me as a kid. With the egg n everything.. No banana though. She'd make me a chocolate banana breakfast drink as well. 😢 I miss the heck outta her 😢
I used to work at Dairy Queen where we also sold orange julius. There was no egg, powdered creamer, or vanilla extract. If I recall we just used a juice extract from minute maid, milk, and snowed ice.
I remember they would use an egg, it wasn't the same when they took out the egg.

My Aunt used to take us to Orange Julius at the mall in the 80’s. I’d have them throw a raw egg in there.
