  1. I’m sensitive to sodium so I boiled the beef once for five min changed the water one more cycle and then the stove top method. Delicious. Next time I’ll probably do twice as many boils and change water but that is just me

  2. this cooked terrible for me in the dutch oven and I followed the recipe to the t.. I decided to put it in the slow cooker after the stove top disaster and it cooked very well. Slow cooker method would be my suggestion.

  3. Been making this recipe for the past three years and absolutely love it – very simple and turns out perfect! I prefer the slow cooker method. It’s been in my cooker for about two hours (I added a Guinness), and getting close to simmer – I know it’ll be a hit (or, shall I say, a home run 🎉). Thanks for share your culinary skills, Nicole! Just recommend getting a point cut rather than a flat cut brisket because it’s more tender.

  4. Followed your instructions without rinsing the corned beef. It taste good but so salty. I found out that you should rinse it once or twice to remove some of the salt (brine)
    Wasted 4lbs of corned beef
