Made this in 4.5" tartlet pans and they came out great! How would you recommend storing leftovers?
I made the tart crust twice. Both times the butter leaked out, the sides fell, and the crust was very greasy. Did anyone else have this problem or can anyone suggest a solution?
Easy & delicious! Only variation is that I added a teensy grating of orange zest, made it in ramekins & served garnished with lashings of whipped cream. It was amazing..
If making a day ahead, what's the best way to store (minus the whipped cream): on counter or in fridge?
Mmmm this is perfect, I was looking for cranberry curd and will be using it in a merengue cake roll as an element of the filling in addition to whipped cream. Thanks!
This tart rules. And the crust is like an almond cookie. Thanks!
Can the tart be refrigerated to accelerate the setting process?
I made this for a pre christmas dinner. Your guests better love cranberries, it was not remotely a hit. I felt terrible, like I ruined dinner. 🙁
Anyone else back here eyeing this recipe for Christmas? I’m thinking of zesting some lime overtop to drive home the red/green theme.
Made this for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it!
How come the eggs don't scramble when added to the hot cranberry mixture?
I made this for Thanksgiving. My family loved it! Thank you Alan.
I have made this twice now. Follow recipe exactly by weight and curd is perfection each time…..but….. crust never looks like hers. Walls of tart collapse each time. Tried freezing a few minutes before baking on the second attempt and same exact result. It is edible but in future I will use different tart crust recipes and just use this curd recipe.
Even my non cranberry lovers enjoyed this. It is so beautiful and yummy.
What’s the reason for not cooking the egg with the cranberry sauce ?
I loved the recipe but it didn’t really set well so I actually cooked the tart for 10 mins in the oven and it was perfect.
I made this for Thanksgiving and it came out AMAZING!!!
I wish I had a way to send you all a picture
Just made this tart for Thanksgiving dinner and it's incredible
11:30 thanksgiving eve and making this for the first time. Going to take it to dinner tomorrow hoping for the best 😋
I just made my first time here. Does anybody know if I put it in the refrigerator after I make it or can it sit out for a day or two?
Is it okay to put this into a pie crust?
Where does the almond extract come in???
Lan!
I think orange juice instead of water, and orange extract instead of almond extract would be great 😊
What a gorgeous pie ❤I love cranberries and I’m making this yummy pie for myself ..
