  1. Ask someone who lived in Cuba if they ever had a Cuban sandwich in Cuba …….
    It was invented in Florida
Actual Cubans don’t have enough money for this sandwich even if they could get their hands on the ingredients.
    Welcome to socialism
Only the leaders have money ,
    Everyone else is equally poor.

  2. Josh, I just made this and it was my very first time ever making bread. It was fucking good bread. It was a fucking good sandwhich and My mother and I enjoyed it very much. followed the recipe and made the bread the night before and it came out pretty good, though I could not for the life of me get the seams to join right so they're a little jenky.

  3. I’ve live in Miami my whole life (just turned 44). I’ve never seen brown Cuban bread. It’s always blonde colored. I have memories of going to the corner Cuban bakery early in the morning to get fresh baked Cuban bread, croquettas, y papa reinas. Also, I’ve roasted pig on noche buena many times. The best method I came up with was to marinate a 40lb pig two days before. You make the mojo sauce and seal it in a bag with the pork. You just set it in a cooler full of ice and check on it occasionally.

  4. That is pretty much exactly the same as I make them, only difference is I use ghee rather than butter to toast the sandwich and put the pickle in the centre of the sandwich between the ham and pork. This really is the king of sandwiches.
