  1. Here in southern California, we have a heat advisory this week (high 90s F).. and this video was RIGHT ON TIME!!!!

    Just finished eating (reheated) roasted tomatoes after prep'ing w/salt and EVOO for an hour b4 cooking. This made a FANTASTIC difference!!

    The tomatoes taste more flavorful, smoother and less tart.. almost a hint of sweetness now! I used this process on large red onions and they also came out better.

  2. Why does Dan eat with his fork upside down, like a socialite who apparently does not mind if they were their bite of food due to gravity drawing the bite down the times? I have wondered most of my life about why some rich and famous dare to eat this way ( in their designer clothing)?

  3. If its winter where you are right now, just save the video and pull it back up when its summer! Why complain about when it’s uploaded? I watch Test Kitchen reruns all the time on PBS and never start yelling at the TV about it. I think its nice to get ideas for the next season as it’s something to look forward to.
