Becky: "We could have these for dinner as well."
I pictured Julia responding with, "I guess they'd be ready by then, if we start in the morning."
Bridget: "And here's our best pick for bullshit bacon."
Jack: "Turkey!"
Bridge: "Oh, sorry! Here's our best pick for bullshit bacon, turkey."
Hello!
If you want tender pancakes, I always wonder why one wouldn't use cake flour in the batter? I always cook my pancakes in a skillet so I can pour the syrup in the skillet right before serving. I want my syrup hot.
Can I use this recipe without cows milk?
Hello 👋 👏👏👏👋👋👋
Scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes are the two dishes that TV chefs consistently mess up. And by "mess up," I mean prepare in a "creamy" style that is completely at odds with the "fluffy" style that I and everyone I've ever cooked for likes.
Those eggs aren't even creamy, anyway. They're soupy. And thoroughly unappetizing.
I made these pancakes this morning and they are AMAZING. So good. So easy. Will definitely be a staple in my kitchen!
"We found a way to do it without all the butter." I'm out. If you reduce the butter in a recipe, you are not a friend of mine.
Bacon comes from pork. End of story.
I love ATK but Gordon Ramsey's french style scrambled eggs are the best.
I have never seen eggs poached in the shell …amazing but could you do a show and tell on how you get the poached egg out of the shell so perfectly
Hello!
I watched this as a youngster on Louisiana Public Broadcasting. I'm now 38!
Fcuk "turkey bacon". Bacon is cured, smoked pork belly. I got to ask, why would anyone even do scrambled eggs without real butter? Butter ads to the taste as well as the creamy texture. Not gonna do this health freak version.
They should have me cook the turkey bacon. I know how to get it crispy SMH
Call me a weirdo, lol but I like turkey bacon. IMHO, Costco sells the best turkey bacon. No others even come close, I think it's from Columbus the stuff Costco sells.
OMG. Those eggs looks sooo good, specially with the toast. 😩
Thanks for the lessons.
ATK,HELLO,,,,JULIA,YOUR COMMENT OF NO BUTTER IN BECKIES SCRAMBLED EGGS REALLY CRACKED ME UP,I DO THE A FEW TIMES A WEEK,AS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO MY SOFT FRIED, BUT NO OIL NO WATER, MY PAN,A NINJA FOODIE 9” pan REALLY NONSTICK ! CHERIO,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Do NOT compare turkey bacon to What you guys consider “CANADIAN BACON”
fluffy pancakes suck….thin pancakes taste better-more crust
My pancake recipe:
1.5 c AP Flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 c whole milk
1 egg
4 tbsp butter
1tbsp honey (or sugar)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix melted butter, milk, egg, honey and vanilla in measuring cup, make a well in the dry ingredients then pour the wet into the dry. Mix til combined (don't overmix). Then cook! Add blueberries or choco chips if you'd like. Makes 6 pancakes if you use a 1/2 cup measuring cup.
I always learn something, just love it.
No on the eggs, too undercooked, had them years ago, was not impressed.
You WILL be eating those 4 hour eggs for dinner!
I'd have eaten my whole breakfast, worked enough to be looking for lunch, and reorganized my entire pantry in the time she took to cook those eggs. French style is hot and fast; small curd, or "Soft scramble."
Achievable in 1/10th the time. 😳
She hates that egg cooking lady…. Im writing my own fan fic
