We’ve been inspired by how delicious and flavorful Domino’s Pizza makes their star-studded pasta primavera. The variety of vegetable toppings makes it a healthy alternative to any pasta dish. To add, you’ll end up craving for more when you get a bite out of its creamy and cheesy white sauce.

Ingredients
2 cups penne pasta cooked and drained
2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup tin mushrooms, sliced
2 oz yellow onion, diced
3 cups baby spinach, chopped or whole
1 cup ripe tomatoes, diced & preferably Roma
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ stick butter, or about 4 oz
3 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, powdered or shredded
½ cup Asiago cheese, shredded (or Manchego, Monterey Jack)
2 cloves garlic minced
Salt & pepper to taste
Sides of toasted garlic bread slices, toasted

0:09 In a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté mushrooms, onion, and garlic until fragrant.
0:28 Add in the spinach and tomatoes, stirring while cooking. Set aside in a warm area.
0:40 In a saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in flour, to form a roux.
0:50 Pour in the cream and bring to a simmer. You may add water or your preferred stock to loosen the sauce.
1:04 Whisk as the mixture begins to thicken and season with salt & pepper. Adjust accordingly.
1:13 Add in Parmesan and Asiago cheese if using.
1:24 Toss in the cooked pasta and the sautéed veggies. Mix and serve.
