  1. This soup is OMG !!!!!!! ………… Also. Don’t throw away the fat !!! Which is tallow !!! Which is rich in minerals, vitamins and calcium !!! In this case, super FLAVOURFUL and AMAZING to use when cooking steamed rice and taros !!! ❤❤❤ (p.s.: I and my family and friends would keep all the cooked ginger and eat it with pleasure !!!) Thank you very much !!!

  2. As so many are these days. A very expensive recipe as, for me in the western desert, nearly every Freddie T except the Ox Tails would have to be specially ordered and, these days, ox tails, when I can even find them, run over $10/ lb.

  3. Why yes! This recipe segment did end rather abruptly. The final 60 seconds:
Elle: It does have like a very, very subtle sweetness that doesn't linger over that come from those jujubes.
Bridget: I'm loving the hit of the fresh ginger at the end.
    E: Yeah.
    B: Soup perfection!
    E: I think so.
B: Warms my heart and so do you!
    E: So sweet.
    B<laughs>
B: Well if you want to make this beautiful soup from Hawaii, it start with cooking the oxtails with flavorful ginger, chen pi and jujubes. Naturally release the pressure first for the most tender oxtails. Wilt the gai choy in the hot broth to retain freshness.
B: From America's Test Kitchen, Multicooker Hawaiian Oxtail Soup. You can get this beautiful recipe and all the recipes from this season, along with product reviews and select episodes. And those are all on our ws.
    B: Big Mahalo to you.

  5. This video is way out of date. You folks at ATK do realize that oxtails are about the same price as ribeye now don't you. I'd just assume have ribeye. I do remember a time back in the 90s when a 5 pound pack of oxtails was about 4 to 6 dollars.
