So good! And very easy! I couldn’t wrap my mind around a saltine crust, but YUM!
This pie looks SOOO good!!
I make the same pie except I make the crust from vanilla wafers and top it with meringue.
Didn't care for the crust😔
What can be used to replace corn syrup?
I would see if I could use honey in place of corn syrup? I just don't have it on hand.
Love this! This is going to be a surprise for my spouse thanks!
I love everything you all cook keep cooking great stuff be blessed🙌💖
I am for sure going to try. Can that pie crust be used for other pies like apple?
Came out pretty good. If you follow the recipe exactly you get good results.
What about topping the pie with a meringue, shielding the crust with foil and then returning the pie to the oven to bake the crust?
Something is wrong with your website I went to look at the recipe and it’s all blurry you should take action to correct this problem thank you
Not happy with this recipe. Center did not firm up after many hours of refrigeration! Very disappointed, usually your recipes are spot on, not this time!
It is delicious I tried it I love it thank you so much and God bless you all keep cooking 🙌🏾🌹🧚🏾
I made this several months ago and it was fabulous!
I just made it again today but substituted key limes in place of the lemons. Key lime zest, key lime juice. Makes spectacular key lime pie!
I made it the other night for guests. The filling was great, the crust was nothing special. Just go with Graham cracker or Oreo crust works just as well but with more flavor.
I made this pie followed every step watching the video. I served it to my guest they all spit it out. I tasted and spit it out too. However, the cream topping was good. I was so embarrassed. No dessert tonight 😝 I throughout this recipe!!!
The recipe is hidden by pop ups!
Wow—must try!!
@5:45 – this is a different pie. The one they baked had less filling in it……magic of TV
This looks amazing!
Yumi yumi . I want a piece. Hehe
You Ladies are the best ❤🌹😊👍
I made for family, filling is incredible. The crust was meh. Couldn’t really taste much of anything. And there was too much for a 9” pan. I’ll definitely make again and hopefully refine a little with quantity of saltines. I’d probably also add a little more salt to the crust.
Wonderful.
I don't own a food processor. What do you suggest I do to make the crust?
Why so much salt? It scares me that it will be just too salty!
The crust appears higher when taken from the oven. When removed from refrig it crust seems shorter. Did filling expand due to cold?
Can this pie be frozen and creamed at a later date.
Thanks for the lovely recipe. Does anyone know the English equivalent of saltine crackers as its not really known here. Thank you.
Could you show some recipes that are salt free my husband almost died from heart failure he has to stay away from salt and finding salt free products is almost impossible thanks
The recipe looks great! Please drop "go ahead and…" from your vocabulary.
Too much salt instead of salt in the mix I would omit it. There is salt in the saltines crust
Do they use a green screen with a video of busy kitchen workers in the background!?
I've been watching this all day on Pluto … always good recipes and tips
I was out of corn syrup so I used Lyle's Golden Syrup and I think it is even better! 😀
Can this be made with Stevia? Lots of diabetics out here that would love to see dished made with Stevia or a tested sugar substitute.
Is this pie crust made with saltines unsalted or salted?
The rest of the South calls it an ice box pie.
North Carolina thinks it's special.
We just called it Atlantic Beach pie and it originated, I believe, in the Morehead City area. We used the egg whites to make a meringue,
however, instead of whipped cream. It s a version of “Magic Lemon “ pie from Borden’s.
Just made the pie! So, so, excited! I don’t know if my family can wait 4 hours..
Can you use instant pudding
Made this pie (2 actually) for the first time last night for friends. Pretty darned amazing if I must say. My wife was concerned about the whipped topping not being sweet enough. It was a perfect combination of ingredients. My crust didn't hold together like Ashleys did so looks like I have reason to try another one soon. Great job ATK!
This looked so yummy but, alas, I can't have anything from cow's milk due so I think I'll try making this vegan. Everything use that was a milk product, I can find in a vegan version. I hope it works!! I think I'll try Aquafaba for the eggs instead of the powdered stuff. Most of that stuff is just nasty.
Looks good my favorite pie.
