  1. Nom noms! Thanks Bro! I've used the zesty Italian dressing for BBQ chicken lots of times! Lost my grandfather's recipe many years ago but similar to yours. He mixed it up in a jar and brushed it on while grilling.

    I cook it the opposite way. I put it over the indirect heat side for most of the cook. Then put my BBQ sauce on and move to direct heat. I like the BBQ sauce and skin crispy. A lot of good ways to do it!

  5. Liked your vid. My eyes started to well up when you mentioned how our parents used to do it. Both of mine are gone now, but I will always have those backyard BBQ memories. My dad was no chef by any stretch, but I learned & improved where he left off. Now I cook for my wife and son; and YES, leave out the technology especially when it comes to just doing simple chicken!
