✅Ingredients

• 1 pound fresh asparagus
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• ½ to 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon black pepper

✅Instructions

1️⃣ 00:01:00 – Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat, about 450 degrees F.

2️⃣ 00:00:20 – Trim ends from asparagus by snapping off the ends, or cutting with a knife.

3️⃣ 00:00:42 – Place trimmed asparagus into a large mixing bowl or large gallon sized resealable plastic bag. Add in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and toss to combine until asparagus is lightly and evenly coated.

4️⃣ 00:01:06 – Place asparagus directly onto the grill, perpendicular to the grill grates so they don’t fall through. Grill over high heat, with the lid closed, for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

5️⃣ 00:01:35 – Serve hot.

  1. I work in a hotel and during breakfast we sometimes get leftover. I tried grilled asparagus for the first time here and since then it’s my 3rd favorite vegetable of all time.

  2. Mine came out great. I like the tip about bending them til they break naturally. Nothing worse than biting into woody stems. BTW, thank you for not making this a 10 minute video like so many others these days.

  3. You know my favorite thing to do with recipes is to watch about half of the video if even and then just decide that I'm gonna do it my own way because of their I like it or I don't but it doesn't matter I don't care I gave up on recipes a long time ago
