  1. Sweet Baby Rays is the only BBQ sauce you will ever need. For years I used many store bought then started making my own but when I found Sweet Baby Rays years ago my BBQ sauce dilemma was over, the homemade was the best until SBR cause it is way easier to squeeze a bottle then making it. Not sure about the coke but learned to put onions and garlic on bottom thanks. So I went to Walmart to by a butt roast they didn't have any so bought a sirloin roast no big deal but they had picnic roast which I never heard of what the hell is a picnic roast what are they used for picnics. Rub is almost the same I use sea salt add thyme and cumin and no white sugar. Thanks great video

  2. Mel here from Rock Hill, SC thanks for the idea of using the soda along with the bbq. I'm try it this Friday night and use my crockpot over night to do my bbq. I'm making sliders for a Christmas party. Happy holidays to you !

  3. The background music is a little bit loud. It’s hard to hear what your saying. I followed your recipe. The meats in the slow cooker! The rub is very delicious, just tasting it. Sweet but has a little bite to it. I’ll add to this comment after its done.

  4. Was curious, he stated that he strains the liquid then mixes the onions/spices/herbs back into the pork? Did anyone follow this advice and when did you add it back into the pork (when adding the Sweet Baby Rays)? Daryll thanks for the video, much appreciated!

  5. I used this a few years ago before Covid… man it was awesome!!! I just watched the video again as a refresher. I’ll be starting it before I go to work on a Saturday morning and it will be ready by kickoff of the NOTRE DAME game!!! I cannot wait!!!

  6. You have a great show but you need to kill the background music it is way to loud and drowns out your voice making it hard to hear what you are saying. Thanks for the video.
