  1. It's in the oven right now! I can't wait! I used Butter Pecan cake mix, added some brown sugar sprinkled over it, and I made copycat Cinnabon frosting to go on top (after flipped 😁). New to your channel, but I'll be back 😊

  2. I’m making it now I used carrot cake Mike because that’s what I have on hand and had to candy my own pecans lol it looks delish already but by dinner time hopefully it’ll be good to put whip cream on and the rest of pecans oh I’m so excited even though I know mine won’t be pretty ❤❤❤

I've made this three times, and I got the best results by putting the cake mix and the solid butter in a bowl and cutting the butter into the cake mix with a pastry cutter before spreading it on top of the pumpkin mixture. If you melt or dot the butter, it doesn't penetrate all the mix, and you wind up with patches of raw cake mix on top. This is a nice recipe, and people really like it.
