Great job 👏🏽
What. Could I use. Instead of the alcohol?
I chuckled a bit as they kept calling the paella "vegetarian." Not quite accurate, as chicken broth is not vegetarian. But it looks delicious.
Mmm veggies, just pure sugar and fibre. Love those veggies. 2 things everyone wants but no one needs.
Why use chicken broth on a vegetarian dish? It's not longer "vegetarian".
Cauliflower & Bean Paella? YES
Vegan Baja-Style Cauliflower Tacos? YES
I would however use Butter instead of Olive Oil.
You had me at "gussy it up"
Both the paella and tacos look good to me. 😋
Super your recipe💯🔥
you call it vegetarian & you add chicken broth?, curious. chicken is not a vegetable.
Becky and Cauliflower, a match made in heaven 😅
Seems like that can’t stand each other.
I liked the morning star Grillers or black bean burgers. This was early 2000's.
I ended up deathly allergic to soy and mushrooms! Yah , I know!!!
Gardein beef-less burgers are awesome.
I love MorningStar Farms veggie burgers and their entire line of other products. Very disappointed it didn’t make the top 2 in the tasting.
Def gonna make that paella, and I think I'll try adding some Daring fake chicken to it 🤔
Great episode! We are always trying to eat more veggie centric food.
Sounds delicious, but t's not vegetarian if chicken broth is used.
Stop referring to something cooked in chicken stock as vegetarian. You guys should be better than this.
YES, delicious and healthy
Only 13.30 per pound! What a steal for something that almost tastes like meat!
Thank you for this vegetarian episode, I really appreciate it.
My sister made beyond meatloaf the other day and if she didn't tell me I would have thought it was meat.
hey jack bishop, everyone is so tired of watching you test meat substitutes. vegans dont want to eat something that looks or tastes or smells like animals. and meat eaters dont want to eat fake animals. julia always looks uncomfortable. how about testing lentil or mushroom or tofu or cauliflower or tempeh or rice or bulger burgers?
I made the paella for dinner and it was amazing! Also those tacos are one of my family’s favorite recipes of all time. ❤
So those veggie burgers are to appeal to meat eaters. As a vegetarian, I don’t want my burgers to taste like beef, and those Impossible burgers that look like pink flesh with bits of animal fat thrown in are gross looking. Love you guys but I’ll take the two “losers”.
As I sit here eating pea soup with an obscene amount of ham…
I wish I liked the cilantro!
Elle is looking great!
Yeah I’m gonna say it! This is NOT vegetarian! Please don’t make this for someone who truly is a veg head or just use vegetable broth, simples 🙄. Boiled chicken bones is NOT vegetarian, never mind vegan!
I do not like the impossible and beyond burgers. I prefer their sausages. I think boca burgers are better for just a burger patty
Props for the plant-based recipes, but is anyone else weirded out by Chef’s fingernails? Like, will she accidentally chop off a sliver? Or gosh, that’s unhygienic! 🥺
HEEM-protein , not heh-meh protein
OH! I love this veggie episode. Excited to try the paella recipe.
Great episode! Thanks for posting vegetarian options!
I find artichoke hearts to be a nice addition to vegetable paella.
Vegan: use 1.5 cups water to rehydrate 2 Oz dry mushrooms. Use liquid for broth. Chop mushrooms and fry in olive oil. Butter beans or garbanzos.
Regarding the cutting board stabilizers someone gave me a roll of shelf liner that is nonstick and spongy several years ago and I've cut that up into 5 or 6 different shapes for the kitchen and I use it all over the house when I need things to not move or slip. The roll has a price tag on it like $7 so save your money and buy a roll of that stuff it works great and you can rinse it with soap and water clean it up real fast and let it dry out in the rack.
I love my veggies! The more cauliflower the better!
More veggie dishes skeptical people will absolutely love like this episode! Bravo
It’s about time that you are showing Vegetarians dishes except for chicken broth !
That paella is NOT a vegetarian recipe if it includes chicken stock, and saying, as you pour the chicken stock into it "and you can easily make this vegetarian by using vegetable stock" means you KNOW it's not vegetarian. I'm disappointed. So stop saying things like "Even though it's vegetarian", but that dish you tasted/made is NOT.
Our food has been weaponized. Great for seeing that guys? Finger on the pulse or following orders from on high? Shame. Go woke. Go broke. 🤷🏽♀️😬💜
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should! The human brain add in needs animal protein.
