Julia, you make everyday meals a fabulous event… I was a single parent, I wish I had you while my girl was growing up…BUT, when we get together I always try to cook something homey, and warm like your recipes. BTW, I love it when you and Bridget cook together, I laugh and learn at the same time.

  2. Looks interesting (sans radish and hot sauce) but I've never seen collard greens or Jicama in central OR where I reside. Used to get it in San Diego when we lived there. Any thoughts on substitutes that might also go well?

  3. NO CILANTRO STEMS!!!! Obviously you have inferior genes that don't allow you to taste the soapy flavor of cilantro. The stems are often the worst for those of us who can taste it. Only use the leaves, and go easy on them! So many of your friends will eat it and say it is good, but think to themselves it is gross because you didn't rinse your dishes enough after washing them with "lemon fresh" Joy detergent. That's what it tastes like. Lemon dish detergent. Go easy on the cilantro and leave the rest for garnish for those who aren't genetically challenged.

  4. That looks so good! Will definitely make! Putting the corn tortillas over the fire does that help with not falling apart? Mine always fall apart. Thank you for the great video!

  5. Julia , Because I been thru two heart attacks .. Salmon is perfect .. thou I would make one change is that I would use corn tortillas .. I found out that flour tortillas are made with laird which I experience heart discomforts .. but yes great recipe .. Thank You 😊
