Wrong!
It's made with Pimenta Moida, Saffron, white wine, butter, minced garlic and Salt
If you use hot sauce it should be Gonsalves.
Where is the beer..Portuguese pimento sauce?
I don't understand why people cut horizontally towards the root of the onion. The natural rings provide the size of the pieces, all you need to do is choose how wide of cut you take. There is no reason to cut horizontally and as you can see it results in different sizes.
No saffron? WTF
Love this recipe! I like it better than shrimp scampi.
you should keep the shell
And you have to keep the skins on the shrimp for the authentic Portuguese dish . That's where all the flavor is . What is this lady doing 😳
Piri piri peppers are actually African. 🔥 she was wrong about that
This is more french than Mozambique recipe. I have lived in Mozambique so this cook cannot fool me. False recipe
So if you can get and use piri piri you don't need to make the sauce with Franks at all correct? Thanks.
I made this tonight and it was delicious. Thank you for sharing. BTW you people bitching about the sauce Whatever ??? She stated it was not the piri stuff so wtf It was really good !! Franks hot sauce ‘merica 👍
I have been making and ot eating this my whole life. Never use bread. Do not use a blender for spices. Put them in the olive oil without bleach ding. AND..do not remove the shells. Cook with shells on and peel after cooking. Adds lots of flavor.
Apparently no one‘s ever heard of the international aisle in the grocery store lol this woman does not know what she’s doing I’m sorry
Omg .. I’m from NB ma.. lol I’m I .. kinda got myself a nice Portuguese man 😂.. so here I am
what can i substitute for wine ?
And one of these days, you will come to NB for the feast!!
Looks and sounds great, but in order to get the recipe I need to buy a membership, nope
Trader Joe’s has piri piri.
She's a babe!!!
Lovely
As far as jobs go. A test kitchen cook like this gotta be up there.
Bought peri peri on amazon, this recipe is fabulous!
Love this dish. I did not have any Peri Peri left the last time I made this but did have some Berbere so I made a sauce and I was surprised how good it came out.
People under 30 think every sentence has to begin with "so."
The dark haired woman talks through her nose, sounds weird
Peri-peri is available all over the place here in RSA.
Its very common here. Makes me think of Nando's mmmmmmm🍗🍲
Ur making me hungry 😭
How about adding ginger wine
Literally my favorite meal ever. And no, Frank’s cannot replace piri piri. It doesn’t taste the same. Frank’s is much more spicy.
I'm sharing this with my family so I can see multiple fights rekindle. Wine vs beer? Goya sazon or no?
This could be days worth of entertainment.
"we all know that a good hot sauce isn't complete without some bread" -My drunk friend Tommy
Looks so good!
White kinda white wine should I use .
Isn’t this just a Buffalo sauce on shrimp?
I am Portuguese from Mozambique….. soooooo franks red hot!!! My grandmother is rolling over in her grave.
Morgan, being a cook, shouldn't wear rings on her fingers when prepping: how can she guarantee she got all the bacteria between her ring and skin after washing her hands? 💀
Please turn that skillet handle to the side! I was just waiting for that handle to get caught in her apron.
Use the spatoola, not your hand, rook.
Unscrived yo to Morgan annoying nails on chalkboard. Plenty of pretty nice voices out there.
The cook's voice is harsh …
Im from New Bedford and i make this alot that sauce u can find around here it's very easy to make and so DELICIOUS. Some recipes use beer instead of wine also a packet of. Goyas Sazon is added. I use beer they both are delicious
Mazambique here!
I don't know why people advocate for the horizontal cuts when chopping onion. It really does nothing and is dangerous in the wrong hands or with a dull knife.
